  • D&B responsibility
  • PC Role to include site set up
  • Reduce level dig & setting out
  • Formed & poured concrete pads
  • New drainage to include soak away & pump chamber
  • Street works for new incoming utilities
  • Externals to include tarmac, paving & landscaping

Modular unit groundworks and external finishes

The proposed works consist of Construction and Installation of translocatable container units to create 5 x temporary residential accommodation with associated storage for Southampton Council.

BVMH Groundworks had been appointed as principal contractor to support delivery of the D&B project. The works included taken on D&B responsibility, providing design for all groundworks to include drainage scheme & external works, securing and setting up site and providing welfare facilities, setting out and reduce level digs, form & pour pad foundations, lay new drainage connecting into existing, street works to run and connect new utilities, externals to include paving, tarmac and landscaping. The project was completed within the contract programme and handed over to the client defect free.
